Ageing and health
People worldwide are living longer. The number of persons aged 80 years old is expected to triple between 2020 and 2050 to reach 426 million.
Common conditions in older age are back and neck pain. Elderly and people with mobility disabilities are excluded in many activities because of their conditions, influencing their lives negatively.
There are no mobility solutions for these people in indoor public spaces. Buying an electric wheelchair or scooter can be expensive and not easy to carry with.
